Los Angeles wildfire death toll rises to 24

The death toll from the devastating wildfire in Los Angeles, California, USA, has risen to 24. The Los Angeles County government confirmed the matter on Saturday (January 11) local time. The British media outlet BBC News reported this information in a report.


The report said that it has been almost a week since the wildfire in Los Angeles, USA, has not been brought under control. The fire has changed direction and spread to new areas. In the meantime, new fears have arisen due to the forecast of stormy winds.



The fire has taken a new turn towards the British Woods and San Fernando Valley. The fire has not been brought under control in many areas of Palisades, Eaton, Kenneth, Lydia, Hurst and Archer. In the Palisades, the fire has spread to another 1,000 acres.



The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner listed 24 people as dead in the wildfire on Sunday local time. In addition, 16 people were reported missing.
