Saudi Arabia has tightened the visa process for Indian workers. From now on, Indians wishing to go to Saudi Arabia will have to go through a pre-verification process to prove their profession and educational qualifications. Indian media outlet NDTV News reported this information in a report on Wednesday (January 15).

The notification said that the issue of profession verification has been made mandatory for work visas. Before getting a Saudi visa, Indian applicants will have to provide proof of professional skills.

It is learned that the issue of imposing restrictions on issuing visas to Indians was proposed six months ago. This strictness is mainly to reduce the number of Indians in Saudi Arabia. Because the workers who go to Saudi Arabia from India are not as trained. In this case, the lack of adequate training centers in India is blamed.
